Lexis Humphries (92 Girls) - Dominican University

Ashley Luis (92 Girls) - Santa Rosa Junior College

In addition, the following players received All-Conference recognition for 2011: Alyssa Benjamin, Rebecca Mateo, Melissa Madrid, and Danielle Stave.   Kiera Woerner was selected to the Conference Carolina All-Tournament team. Rebecca Yim made the Dean’s List and Kara Cunningham received Scholar Athlete Honors!

October 21, 2011 - Alyssa Benjamin (SCA 90 Girls) listed as a defender for much of her career at UC Santa Barbara, was moved up to forward for the October game against University of the Pacific.  She scored an unassisted goal in the 59th minute of the match.  It was UCSB’s only goal of the game.  Good job Alyssa! (UCSB Drops Tough Decision at Pacific 2-1)

October 10, 2011 - Melissa Madrid (SCA 92 Girls) was the Buccaneer of the Week at Barry University in Florida.  Melissa set a school record by scoring twice in 18 seconds against Florida Tech on Wednesday.  She added a goal and an assist in a 6-1 win over Eckerd on Sunday.  Congratulations to Melissa! (Melissa Madrid is Buccaneer of the Week).

October 11. 2011 - Rebecca Mateo (SCA 90 Girls) named Conference Carolinas Player of the Week.  (Player of the Week)

October 8,2011 - Rebecca Mateo (SCA 90 Girls) scored 6 goals in the last 3 games at Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina.  Also contributing to the 3 conference wins as a starting midfielder was Kiera Woerner (SCA 90 Girls).  Go Crusaders! (Women’s Soccer Blanks Converse for 3rd Straight Win).

September 4, 20111Rebecca Yim (SCA 94 Girls) participated in her first college game this week for Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont , CA.  Notre Dame defeated Cal State East Bay 2-1.  Rebecca was on the starting lineup and played the entire game as center back.  She had been training with the team since double days began August 14th.  Congratulations to Becca and good luck Notre Dame!
